Moldavite

Description

Member of the Tektite group, a glassy mixture of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide and other metal oxides, Tektites are meteoric “glass”fragments, although tektikes are usually brown and black in colour, Moldovites are unique and rare because of their green colour and are mainly found along the the Moldau river in the Czech Republic and Southern Germany.
